Guidelines
Welcome to the One Piece Rare Pair Bang!A Bang is a collaborative fest where authors and artists work together, combining two wonderful mediums to tell stories! In this case, we're hoping to showcase the many wonderful rare pairs that the One Piece community has to offer!Obviously what is and isn't a rare pair is a shifting metric, and sometimes is more of a gut instinct than anything else, but for right now, we're considering a pairing to be a rare pair if they have 500 or less works on Ao3.

Rules
This is an 18+ event, all participants must be 18 or older at the time of joining.Because this is a collaborative fest, everyone who joins must be willing to be flexible; we want everyone to have the best match-ups possible, but you may be paired with someone you wouldn't naturally vibe with! This happens! We ask that all participants do their best to respect and collaborate with their partners, and come to the mods with any problems.Immediate responses are unrealistic considering we are all adults with various lifestyles and time zones, but we require responses to collaboration partners to happen within three business days. Please do your best! And again, reach out to the mods with any issues or questions.
Writers
Word Count Minimum: 5,000 wordsWe will have a check-in period for all authors to submit of summary of what they plan to write, for which pairing, and what the work may include. This means that we need to know a general rating, if there will be potential triggering concepts, and anything to help the artist make a claim and to keep everyone within their zone of comfort.Works must reach the required minimum word count, we do not have a maximum limit. If you want to write to your hearts content, please feel free to do so! But keep in mind that works must be completed by the end of the fest.Authors must have an AO3 account, all works will be required to be completed by the end of the event, and posted in full. These works will need to be rated and tagged appropriately.Once works are completed and posted at the end of the event, authors will need to link and credit their artists work. If the author had a beta, they will also need to be credited.
Artists
Required work: Must have at least one piece that is at minimum flat color/greyscale, with a minimal background.Any style of artwork can be used (Digital, traditional, mixed media, comic, etc.) as long as it's a drawing that correlates to the authors work.Art must be posted somewhere on a social media account. Some may only have X, some may only have Tumblr, some may have it all, as long as at the end of the event you've posted your work with credit to your author for the work you've created for.Once paired, we will have private channels for each team in the discord, where you can work together on which scene/scenes you will be creating works for. This way both Author and Artist can determine their level of comfort of what they want to see created/create.
Betas & Pinch Hitters
Betas can provide feedback to their selected authors, which can include looking for grammatical errors, providing assistance with development/plot, or maybe something in particular that the author asks for.If someone is unable to complete their works or needs to drop out, a Pinch Hitter is there to step in to help create works for the one who is leaving. This way no one is completely left behind. Pinch Hitters can sign up as artists, authors, or both!If you wish to be a pinch hitter, it may not be required you step in, but if it does it will be a first come first serve basis.Beta & Pinch Hitter sign-up Forms are open and ongoing
